Bloomsbury Babies is an online resource for parents and carers of under 5s who are living in, or visiting Bloomsbury.
Bloomsbury is a very special neighbourhood: famous for its literary heritage, it also has world-renowned services for children including Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Coram Foundation. Coram Fields playground is the 'epicentre' (if your social life revolves around an under-5...), where you can meet people from every culture and background. But that is just the start of the Bloomsbury baby experience. This website celebrates the fantastic free, or affordable, things you can do here, and provides an on-line network for local mums, dads and carers, whether you live here or are just passing through. There are forthcoming events and a day by day timetable for the Bloomsbury neighbourhood in events and daily schedule, and other favourite under-5s activities within easy reach, in local places to go. The tried and tested family recipes are simple to prepare with a maximum of 30mins preparation time. You can also find expert advice on parenting issues by author Elizabeth Pantley. Any blog with Bloomsbury in the title has to have something on our kids' literary tastes, so I've started a favourite reads section too - please send in yours to share.
